Getting started
How do I identify a plant?
Open Spire, tap the camera button, and take a photo of the plant. You’ll get an answer in seconds, and the plant is added to your Plantedex automatically. Tip: get close to the leaves or flower in good light for the best result.
The identification or Gro got it wrong
Try a new photo closer to the leaves, the flower, or the whole plant. If you’re still unsure, ask Gro in the chat, or send us an email and we’ll help you.
Spire Premium
What is Spire Premium, and what does it cost?
Much of Spire is free. Spire Premium unlocks unlimited use of Gro, your AI gardener, plus more features. It costs 59 NOK per month or 499 NOK per year.
How do I cancel my subscription?
The subscription is managed by the App Store. On your iPhone, go to Settings, tap your name at the top, choose Subscriptions, and select Spire to cancel. Cancellation takes effect from the next renewal, and you keep Premium for the rest of the period you’ve paid for.
Account and privacy
How do I delete my account?
Open Spire, go to your profile, then Settings, and choose Delete account. This removes your account and your data. If you need help, write to us at post@spireapp.ai.
Where can I find your privacy policy and terms?
You’ll find our privacy policy and terms at the bottom of the website and inside the app.
Notifications
Notifications aren’t working
Check that notifications are turned on inside Spire (under Settings), and that Spire is allowed to send notifications in your iPhone settings under Settings, Spire, Notifications.
